Consultations at Get PR Faster

Our consultations are designed to help you with your migration journey. Each session lasts up to 30 minutes and is typically more than sufficient to get through your questions and provide meaningful feedback. In each session, we will discuss your migration goals, assess your eligibility and outline the best pathway forward. We will explore strategies to strengthen your application and explain the next steps.

Consultations are conducted online via Zoom (or Teams) for your convenience. Face-to-face consultations may be available upon request, with an additional fee and subject to availability. Please note that consultations do not include a comprehensive review of documents. All meeting links are sent automatically to your email. If you did not receive your link within 1 hour after payment, please check your spam inbox.

How you can help us to help you during consultation

We encourage you to provide us with a list of questions, relevant documents and your CV (if applicable) ahead of our consultation so that we will have sufficient time to prepare for consultation, including migration strategies and options tailored to your individual circumstances.

What to expect during a consultation

  • We will ask you a range of questions at the beginning of a consultation so that we can identify and analyse relevant issues from your migration situation.
  • Once we finish gathering information provided by you, we will distinguish realistic and unrealistic expectations and provide our professional view on your migration situation. Sometimes, our view may not be what you wish to hear.
  • Where appropriate, we will recommend some options, weigh the pros and cons of each option and analyse the risks of each option for you.
  • If you provide us with a list of questions, relevant documents and your CV (if applicable) ahead of our consultation, we will have more time to prepare for consultation, including migration strategies and options. This will make the consultation more efficient, which means that the consultation may not need to last up to 30 minutes or that you will have more time to ask extra questions within the 30-minute window.
  • Given the complexity of migration law, we may not have answers at our fingertips as some questions require serious consideration and planning. In this case, we will follow up with you after our consultation.
  • We may not be able to review all the documents that you send us, especially when the documents are voluminous and may require hours to review. In this case, we may provide you with general guiding advice or direction or suggest other options that we may be able to assist you.

Consultation recordings

  • The consultation may be recorded for quality and training purposes. If you do not want it to be recorded, please let us know.
  • Recordings may be kept for law enforcement reasons.
  • By attending the consultation, you agree to the following:
  • Your personally identifiable information may be heard, seen, read, collected, or used by us as the organiser.
  • Any communication or information transmitted during the consultation, including but not limited to, voice, instant messages, visa grant or refusal letter, are available to and may be recorded and further used by us as the organiser.

What happens after a consultation

  • We may write to you to confirm some information that we said we would have to double check during the consultation.
  • We will provide you with a quotation for our migration services upon your request.

Unacceptable behaviour

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for any form of disrespect, harassment, aggression, violence, or discrimination. If any such behaviour occurs, we reserve the right to end the consultation immediately without providing a refund.

Non-attendance

  • If you fail to attend your consultation for 10 minutes or more from the time it starts, we will not provide a refund.

Cancellation

  • If you cancel your consultation at least 48 hours before it starts, we will provide you with a full refund.
  • If you cancel your cancellation within 48 hours before it starts, we will not provide you with a refund.
  • If you wish to cancel your consultation, please use the cancellation link in your appointment confirmation email and notify us at enquiry@riverwoodmigration.com.

Rescheduling

  • If you reschedule within 24 hours of your original consultation, you will be charged $80.00 as an administration fee.
  • In the rare event that we must reschedule your consultation because of some unforeseen circumstances, we will work to accommodate you with the earliest available appointment.

Further enquiries

  • If you have further enquiries after your consultation is completed, you will need to schedule a new consultation.
  • Consultation fees are separate from our future migration services.
