The General Skilled Migration program aims to fill skill gaps in the Australian economy by focusing on individuals with skills in the occupation list.
The program covers a variety of visas, including a direct permanent residency with Skilled Independent (Subclass 189) and Skilled Nominated (Subclass 190) visas, as well as a staggering provisional track with Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) (Subclass 491) visa. Those who are willing to relocate to specific regional areas will receive additional points.

學生簽證（Subclass 500）
就讀已註冊於 CRICOS 的課程（超過 3 個月），涵蓋中小學、職業教育、學士及研究生、研究類、非學位及 ELICOS、政府類課程。持有人可依規定工作並需持 OSHC；部分課程畢業後可銜接畢業簽證。

ELICOS、學校、職訓、學位與研究、非學位、外交／國防等學生

- 已全日制註冊 CRICOS 課程（具 CoE）
- 符合真實學生（GS）要求並提供證明
- 達英語門檻（或符合豁免）
- 持有海外學生健康保險（OSHC）
- 具足夠學費、生活與旅費資金證明
- 符合健康與品格要求
- 申請人年滿 6 歲；未滿 18 歲需獲認可監護安排
所需文件（學生 500）
- 身份 - 護照資料頁、近照
- 家庭 - 受養人護照／相片、經翻譯出生證、結婚證或 12 個月同居證（如適用）、監護／依賴證明（如適用）
- GS 材料 - 個人陳述（個人背景、赴澳讀書原因、畢業後計劃）、學歷成績、履歷或工作證明
- 健康／英語 - 英語成績（如需）、無犯紀錄、體檢、OSHC 證明
- 財務 - 學費＋生活費＋旅費之資金證明

- 於院校註冊並取得 CoE
- 準備文件與 GS 證明
- 透過 ImmiAccount 線上遞交、上載文件並繳費
- 視要求進行體檢／品格審查
- 以書面通知結果；簽證電子連結護照

畢業簽證（Subclass 485）
適用於合資格的應屆畢業生，在澳洲居留、工作與進修。有效期及類別依學歷與地區而異；常用以累積本地經驗，銜接技術或雇主擔保途徑。
申請資格（畢業 485）
- 近期於澳洲完成符合類別規定之學歷
- 達英語門檻並通過健康／品格審查
- 於規定期限內遞交
- 可合併符合資格之家屬

學生監護人簽證（Subclass 590）
供年滿 21 歲之父母／監護人／親屬，陪同未滿 18 歲之國際學生在澳停留。可修讀最多 3 個月課程（或 ELICOS 部分時數），一般無工作權。
申請資格（監護人 590）
- 為學生之父母／監護人／合資格親屬（21+）
- 屬真實臨時入境者並具備足夠資金
- 能為學生提供住宿與照顧
- 提交所需監護文件（如 Form 157N）
- 具健康保險並通過健康／品格審查
- 不可攜帶 6 歲以下子女（少數例外）
