On 4 June, New South Wales (NSW) officially announced that the 2024–25 program year Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190) allocation has been fully used, and no further invitations will be issued at this stage.

The South Australian Government has officially closed onshore Registration of Interest (ROI) submissions for the 2024–25 skilled migration program year. Applicants aiming to secure state nomination through SA must now await outcome notifications. Incomplete or unsubmitted ROI drafts will be automatically removed from the system. All submitted ROIs will be processed by 30 June 2025.
